IBM used to be Big Blue – too pricey for us, but a real design icon.

Sun Microsystems? The ultimate developer brand. Open, bold, visionary.

Our first web servers? Cobalt RaQ – cool machines, later acquired by Sun. And we were right in the middle of it all. Not as spectators, but as young tinkerers in the early days of the web.

Two tech giants, two sources of inspiration:

  • Blue stood for structure, order and reliability.
  • Sun for curiosity, openness and innovation.

We grew up between those two worlds. And one day, the name just made sense: Bluesun.
